Regular Season Round 8: Kharkivski Sokoly - Niko-Basket 62-80

Higher League top team - Niko-Basket (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat sixth ranked Kharkivski Sokoly (3-5) 80-62. 27 personal fouls committed by Kharkivski Sokoly helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Vadim Zaplotinskiy (200-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Roman Gumeniuk (220-87) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Niko-Basket players scored in double figures. Forward Andrii Shalamov (202-96) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Oleksandr Koroviakov (200-81) added 7 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Kharkivski Sokoly.
