Regular Season Round 10: Orebro - Brahe Basket 98-72

Bottom-ranked Brahe Basket (0-8) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to eighth ranked Orebro (2-6) 98-72 on Sunday evening. Orebro dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brahe Basket's 36. They outrebounded Brahe Basket 40-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Sasa Lukic scored 27 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Olle Mellstrom (194-93) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Orebro players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Carl Sundkvist (175-97) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and guard Joel Penndal (183-99) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Orebro moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Huddinge. Brahe Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with eight games lost. Orebro will have a break next round. Brahe Basket will play at home against Boras II (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
