Regular Season Round 10: Bertram Tortona - Lighthouse TRP 73-83

Round 10 games in the Serie A2 were marked by very close results. The first upset was a home defeat of 7th ranked Bertram Tortona (5-5) to sixth ranked Lighthouse TRP (6-4) 83-73. American point guard Brandon Jefferson (175-91, college: Metro St.) scored 30 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jesse Perry (200-89, college: Arizona) chipped in 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Lighthouse TRP players scored in double figures. At the losing side Lithuanian Paulius Sorokas (202-92, agency: Players Group) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Melvin Johnson (193-93, college: VCU) scored 18 points. Lighthouse TRP maintains sixth position in A2 with 6-4 record. Bertram Tortona at the other side dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. Lighthouse TRP are looking forward to face higher ranked Agrigento (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bertram Tortona will play against the league's second-placed Eurotrend Biella and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
