Round 7 most important game was a victory of Lebanese Al Riyadi over 4th placed Swedish Lulea Basket 90-67 on Sunday night. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Al Riyadi outrebounded Lulea Basket 52-34 including a 40-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Roneeka Hodges (180-82, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian power forward Kayli Sartori (185-93, college: UFV) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Allis Nystrom (184-93) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Lulea Basket. Al Riyadi (4-1) moved-up to second place. Defending Swedish champion Lulea Basket dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Liepajas Pap. and Kibirkstis.
