Regular Season Round 4: Al Riyadi - Bornova 98-70

The game between fifth ranked Lebanese Al Riyadi (4-1) and 9th ranked Turkish Bornova (2-3) in Beirut ended with biggest points difference. Al Riyadi outscored guests from Bornova 98-70. Al Riyadi forced 20 Bornova turnovers. Strangely Bornova outrebounded Al Riyadi 44-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Bornova's players. American guard Roneeka Hodges (180-82, college: Florida St.) fired 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Aida Bakhos (175-86, college: Lamar) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Australian forward Samantha Lubcke (188-96, college: Utah Valley, agency: Lebedintsev Andriy) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Croatian center Lorena Molnar (194-98, agency: Lebedintsev Andriy) added 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al Riyadi moved-up to second place. Bornova lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with three games lost.
