Regular Season Round 8: Tresnjevka - Buducnost 62-57

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Montenegrin Buducnost (7-1) in Zagreb on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Croatian Tresnjevka (4-4) 62-57. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Buducnost. Guard Karla Erjavec (172-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Andjela Katavic (177-99) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian guard Sanja Orozovic (183-90) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Bozica Mujovic (178-96) added 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Buducnost. Tresnjevka maintains third position in A with 4-4 record having just three points less than leader Buducnost, which they share with Play Off. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost still keeps top place with one game lost. Tresnjevka is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Istanbul Uni (#6) on the road in the next round. Buducnost will play against the league's second-placed Crvena Zvezda (#2) in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
