CBA top team - Flying Leopards (10-2) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat seventh ranked Beijing Ducks (7-5) in Yingkou 104-97. Flying Leopards made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the other American import Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) supported him with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Four Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. Even 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Aaron Jackson (190-86, college: Duquesne) did not help to save the game for Beijing Ducks. International guard Shuo Fang (188-90) added 21 points. Beijing Ducks' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Flying Leopards have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record. Loser Beijing Ducks dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Flying Leopards will meet Sturgeons (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Beijing Ducks will play against Leopards (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
