Important game to mention about took place in Jonava. Sixth ranked Jonava (10-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Telsiai (10-9) 105-103 in the game for the fifth place. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard John Brisco (180-93, college: Prairie View A&M, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (made all of his eight free throws). Center Martynas Pacevicius (205-97, college: High School) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) added 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Telsiai. Five Jonava and four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Jonava have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Telsiai. Jonava will play against bottom-ranked KTU (#14) in Kaunas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Telsiai will play at home against Perlas (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
