Date: December 9, 2017
Zamorano's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 11 consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (7-5) 84-79. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Fontedoso Carrefour won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fontedoso Carrefour was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) who added 21 points during the contest. Five Zamorano players scored in double figures. Zamorano's coach Saulo Hernandez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was naturalized Brazilian center Sidnei De-Santana (216-83, agency: Duran International) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Kyle Hittle (196-94, college: Incarnate Word, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 18 points.
