A very interesting game took place in Limoges. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked Limoges (6-5) to eleventh ranked Le Portel (6-5) 55-52 in the fight for the seventh place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Limoges. The best player for the winners was power forward Mounir Bernaoui (204-97) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Cameroonian guard Samir Gbetkom-Bikantchou (191-98) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Benjamin Delage (183-97) produced 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and DR Congolese center Merveille Muninga (203-97) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Le Portel moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Limoges. Le Portel's next round opponent will be higher ranked Strasbourg U21 (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
