Regular Season Round 11: Forli - Bologna 43-79

Date: December 9, 2017
Very expected game when 15th ranked Forli (1-9) was smashed at home by third ranked Bologna (10-1) 79-43 on Saturday. Bologna forced 24 Forli turnovers. The former international forward Alessandra Tava (183-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Benedetta Gramaccioni (171-98) answered with 12 points and guard Lucia Missanelli (177-98) added 6 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Forli. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bologna moved-up to second place in A2. Newly promoted Forli keeps the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Bologna will face league's leader Empoli on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Forli will play against Savonese (#10) and hope to win that game.
