Regular Season Round 13: Antalyaspor - Bursaspor 66-95

The game between third ranked Antalyaspor (9-4) and seventh ranked Bursaspor (8-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Antalyaspor was crushed by Bursaspor in Antalya 95-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Antalyaspor. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Antalyaspor's players. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 30 points and 4 assists. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Emir Gokalp (185-95) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward CJ Leslie (206-91, college: N.Carolina St.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursaspor moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bandirma Kir. Newly promoted Antalyaspor keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Selcuklu. Bursaspor is looking forward to face league's leader Turk Telekom in Ankara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Antalyaspor will play on the road against Orman Genclik in Ankara and is hoping to win this game.
