There was no surprise when 18th ranked Yalova Bld (1-12) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Orman Genclik (6-7) 73-67 on Saturday. Orman Genclik made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game, while Yalova Bld only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded Yalova Bld 38-21 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) fired 20 points for the winners. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Onur Sonsirma (190-85, agency: 1x1 Sports) produced 18 points and forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Orman Genclik. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Istanbulspor and Bahcesehir. Yalova Bld lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Orman Genclik will meet at home higher ranked Antalyaspor (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yalova Bld will play against Ankara D.S.I.
