Regular Season Round 13: CFBB - Gries/Oberhoffen 47-100

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 13th consecutive match to second ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (10-2) 100-47 on Saturday evening. Gries/Oberhoffen dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 24 and had 22 for 33 from the free-throw line, while CFBB only scored five points from the stripe. Center Ludovic Negrobar (207-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and guard Oumarou Sylla (185-92) accounted for 21 points and 5 assists. Five Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. Guard Yohan Choupas (193-0) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Mathis Dossou-Yovo (202-0) added 5 points and 12 rebounds respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gries/Oberhoffen. They maintain second place with 10-2 record having four points less than leader Saint Vallier. CFBB lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Gries/Oberhoffen will meet at home GET Vosges (#16) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play against SAP Vaucluse and hopes to get finally their first victory.
