Regular Season Round 11: Eskilstuna - RIG Mark 80-93

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Eskilstuna (5-4) was defeated at home by third ranked RIG Mark (6-2) 93-80 on Sunday. RIG Mark made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Eskilstuna turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Oskar Palmquist (197-0) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Point guard Pontus Oksman (185-92) produced 19 points and 7 assists and Erik Flood (-98) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Five RIG Mark and four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. RIG Mark maintains third place with 6-2 record having four points less than leader KFUM Fryshuset. Loser Eskilstuna keeps the fifth position with four games lost. RIG Mark will face league's second-placed Hammarby in Stockholm in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
