Very predictable result when fifth ranked Vicenza (8-5) defeated on the road 16th ranked Volpino (1-12) 85-71 on Sunday. They outrebounded Volpino 36-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (203-86, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Daniele Demartini (184-84, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side forward Kevin Cusenza (202-93) responded with 17 points and power forward Alessio Sabbadini (203-93) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vicenza maintains fifth place in B with 8-5 record, which they share with Faenza. Volpino lost ninth consecutive game.
