Regular Season Round 13: Coruna - FC Barcelona II 89-79

An interesting game took place in Coruna where 13th ranked Barca II (5-8) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Leyma Basquet (5-7) 89-79 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barca II. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 29-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Leyma Basquet have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Barca II dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Leyma Basquet will face Palma (#16) in S'Arenal in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Barca II will play at home against Oviedo CB (#6) and hope to win that game.
