An exciting game was when first ranked First ranked Dacin Tigers faced one of their biggest challengers Fubon Braves. Dacin Tigers (3-2) defeated Fubon Braves (3-2) 74-65. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. The former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (193-86) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 3-2 record, which they share with Pauian and Fubon Braves. Dacin Tigers will play against KKL (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Fubon Braves will play against the league's leader Pauian (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
