Regular Season Round 13: Navarra - Aquimisa LZ 87-77

Not a big story in a game in Pamplona where 15th ranked Zamorano (1-12) was defeated by eleventh ranked Navarra (7-6) 87-77. The game was mostly controlled by Navarra. Zamorano was better in second period 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Ivorian forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Inaki Narros (196-81) contributed with 23 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. American forward Brett Ervin (201-91, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Duran International) answered with 20 points and forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Zamorano. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Navarra. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Zamorano at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Navarra's next round opponent will be league's leader CB Granada on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zamorano will play against Fundacion 5+11 (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
