Bottom-ranked Yalova Bld managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they edged sixteenth-ranked Ankara D.S.I. 58-57. American guard Markel Starks (188-91, college: Georgetown) saved the victory by scoring 28 points. Power forward Melih Kapucu (204-90) contributed with 5 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Yalova Bld's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international center Mutlu Demir (210-87) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 20 rebounds and American point guard Keifer Sykes (183-93, college: Green Bay) added 21 points and 5 assists in the effort for Ankara D.S.I.Yalova Bld (2-12) moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Petkim. Ankara D.S.I. at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 11 games lost. Yalova Bld will play against league's second-placed Afyon Bld in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
