Very significant was Vigarano's (#7) just 3-point road victory against 8th ranked Torino. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Ghanian-American forward Batabe Zempare (188-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Benedetta Bagnara (178-87, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. American swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU, agency: Two Points) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Sophie Brunner (185-95, college: Arizona St.) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Torino in the defeat.
