An interesting game took place in Haifa where higher ranked Hap.Haifa (6-4) was upset on its own court by thirteenth ranked Maccabi K/M (3-7) 91-81. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Maccabi K/M outrebounded Hap.Haifa 48-33 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Folarin Campbell (189-86, college: George Mason) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 4 assists. The other American import power forward Justin Jackson (204-90, college: Cincinnati) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five Maccabi K/M players scored in double figures. Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 20 rebounds and American swingman LaMarcus Reed (196-88, college: Texas Arlington) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hap.Haifa. Maccabi K/M moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Elitzur Yavne. Hap.Haifa at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Maccabi K/M's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (#3) in Givataim and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hap.Haifa will play on the road against Elitzur Yavne and hope to win that game.
