SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (17-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Prievidza (11-8) 93-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Prievidza. Inter Bratislava made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Inter Bratislava looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a quality performance for Serbian Nemanja Barac (194-90, agency: 011 Sports) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 assists. Serbian point guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 11 points and 10 assists for the winning side. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Rodney Glasgow (180-92, college: VMI) came up with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Jarquez Smith (206-94, college: Florida St.) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Prievidza in the defeat. Inter Bratislava have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-2 record. Loser Prievidza keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Inter Bratislava's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bratislava to the arena Karlovka.
