Regular Season Round 21: Grodno-93 - Prinemanye 119-68

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Grodno: Grodno-93 (#2) and Prinemanye (#7). Grodno-93 (18-2) crushed visiting Prinemanye (5-13) by 51 points 119-68. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanye's 36. Grodno-93 forced 27 Prinemanye turnovers and outrebounded them 40-24 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Prinemanye's players. It was a good game for Ukrainian point guard Maksym Miroshnychenko (180-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Guard Ilya Sharipov (198-91) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Grodno-93's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ukrainian guard Anatoli Konev (192-92) answered with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Maksim Liahchylin (175-98) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Prinemanye. Grodno-93 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Tsmoki-Minsk. Prinemanye lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 13 games lost. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Prinemanye will play on the road against Tsmoki II (#6) in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
