Rather predictable result when second ranked Mineros (15-7) defeated at home 5th ranked Correcaminos (11-11) 82-78 on Saturday. Mineros made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Noe Alonzo (200-83, college: Grand Canyon) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
