Regular Season Round 7: KKL - Yulon Luxgen 79-99

Another exciting game was between seventh ranked Yulon Luxgen and 6th ranked KKL where Yulon Luxgen (4-4) crushed KKL (3-5) on the road with 20-point difference 99-79. Yulon Luxgen forced 23 KKL turnovers. Strangely KKL outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 46-24 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Wei-han Lin who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds and forward Yi-Jin Su (195-93) added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for KKL. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dacin Tigers. KKL at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against higher ranked Pauian (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KKL will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
