Tenth-ranked Panteras (5-16) gave a tough game to first ranked Fuerza Regia (16-6) in Aguascalientes on Saturday. The visitors from Monterrey managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fuerza Regia made 7 blocks. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-6 record. Panteras lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 16 games lost. Fuerza Regia are looking forward to face Santos (#8) in San Luis Potosi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Panteras will play on the road against Abejas in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
