No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Vivo/Franca (6-3) beat 9th ranked Flamengo (4-2) in Sao Paulo 100-82 on Saturday. Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Flamengo's 38. Vivo/Franca had a 29-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Flamengo's players. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Rafael de-Souza (208-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). International Leonardo Meindl (201-93) contributed with 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures.
