Regular Season Round 12: TLU/Kalev - Kalev/Cramo 72-86

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#1) and TLU/Kalev (#5). TLU/Kalev was defeated at home 72-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. TLU/Kalev was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 56-40 second half run of Kalev/Cramo. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by TLU/Kalev's players. TLU/Kalev was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and Dutch center Thomas vanderMars (208-90, college: Portland) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) with 16 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93) scored 12 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kalev/Cramo (13-0) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. TLU/Kalev at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost.
