Regular Season Round 8: Yulon Luxgen - Dacin Tigers 86-75

An interesting game for Yulon Luxgen (5-5) which played against 4th ranked Dacin Tigers (4-5). Third ranked Yulon Luxgen managed to get a 11-point victory 86-75. The winners were led by international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-91) who scored that evening 24 points and Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) supported him with 7 points and 18 rebounds. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Yulon Luxgen's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds by Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. The former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (193-86) added 9 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for Yulon Luxgen. Despite that victory Yulon Luxgen went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with KKL. Defending champion Dacin Tigers dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet bottom-ranked Taiwan Beer (#7) in the next round. Dacin Tigers will play against Fubon Braves and hope to secure a win.
