Regular Season Round 29: Bambitious Nara - Shinshu BW 69-67

A very close game took place in Nara between Bambitious Nara and Shinshu BW. Sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (7-21) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Shinshu BW (12-16). Bambitious Nara managed to escape with a 2-point win 69-67 on Saturday evening. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and forward Daiki Terashita (190-80) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) responded with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import center Nick Washburn (208-91, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Shinshu BW's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bambitious Nara maintains sixth place with 7-21 record. Shinshu BW at the other side keeps the fifth position with 16 games lost. Bambitious Nara will meet league's leader Fukuoka Rizing on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shinshu BW will play against Kanazawa Sam. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
