Regular Season Round 8: Pauian - Yulon Luxgen 79-67

Very important is a loss of third ranked Yulon Luxgen (5-5) against fourth ranked Pauian (6-5) on Saturday night. Yulon Luxgen was defeated by Pauian 79-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Pauian players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and point guard Chen Jian-En (181-88, college: Biola, CA) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-91) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pauian moved-up to second place. Yulon Luxgen at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with KKL. Pauian will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Yulon Luxgen will play against Taiwan Beer (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
