The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Germani BR (10-3) in Brescia on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by eleventh ranked Vanoli Cremona (6-7) 80-67. American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-89, college: Marquette, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and the former international point guard Travis Diener (185-82, college: Marquette) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Vanoli Cremona's coach Romeo Sacchetti used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Vanoli Cremona moved-up to ninth place, which they share with MIA-RO Cantu. Germani BR at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with EA7 Armani and Scandone AV. Vanoli Cremona is looking forward to face Openjobmetis VA (#13) in Varese in the next round. Germani BR will play on the road against Fiat TO (#5) in Torino and is hoping to win this game.
