Very important is a road loss of second ranked Maccabi K/G (9-3) against fourteenth ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (3-9) on Tuesday night. Visiting Maccabi K/G was defeated by Hapoel Migd.H. in Tarshicha 104-92. Hapoel Migd.H. forced 19 Maccabi K/G turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Maccabi K/G was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Arad Harari (196-94) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 5 rebounds and Eli Ben-Ami (-99) who added 23 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized Polish point guard Nimrod Tishman (197-91, agency: Avi Zilberman) scored 17 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Maccabi K/G's coach Roy Hagai rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Migd.H. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Maccabi K/M and Hapoel Afula. Maccabi K/G at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Hapoel Migd.H. will play against higher ranked Maccabi Raanana (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Maccabi K/G will play against Ironi Kiryat Ata (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
