Regular Season Round 25: Ezerunas - Jonava 75-72

Important game to mention about took place in Moletai. Ninth ranked Ezerunas (12-13) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Jonava (12-13) 75-72 in the game for the seventh place. Ezerunas brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of center Ignas Lukosius (202-93) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Jonas Zakas (192-97) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Martynas Pacevicius (205-97, college: High School) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jonava. Four Jonava players scored in double figures. Jonava's coach Nerijus Zabarauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ezerunas. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Jonava and Taurages. Ezerunas will play against Taurages (#7) on the road in the next round. Jonava will play against Silute and hopes to get back on the winning track.
