Very predictable result when third ranked Holargos (9-3) beat at home 10th ranked Marousi (5-7) 76-66. The hosts were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-11 run, which allowed them to win the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Marousi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by forward Nikolaos Papanikolaou (209-85) who scored that evening 17 points and 9 rebounds and Angelos Tsamis (192-81) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 15 points by Orfeas Stasinos did not help to save the game for Marousi. Guard Christos Dakoulias (186-87) added 15 points. Four Marousi players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Holargos moved-up to second place, which they share with Iraklis.
