Regular Season Round 22: Tsmoki II - Prinemanye 84-80 OT

Seventh-ranked Prinemanye (5-15) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Tsmoki II (10-10) in Minsk on Saturday. Tsmoki II managed to secure only four-point victory 84-80. However their fans expected easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Prinemanye won third quarter 25-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Prinemanye used huge pressure winning it 23-17 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 6-10. Prinemanye was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Anton Zaretski (188-98) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Vladislau Bliznyk (181-99) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Tsmoki II's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Ukrainian guard Anatoli Konev (192-92) responded with 29 points and 6 rebounds and guard Aleksey Vasilenko (186-99) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tsmoki II maintains sixth position with 10-10 record. Prinemanye lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 15 games lost. Tsmoki II's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki-Minsk.
