Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Nysa Klodzko (4-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Sokol Lancut (14-3) 86-72 on Saturday. Power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and guard Marek Zywert (192-96) chipped in 20 points and 6 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Maksym Kulon (191-93) scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sokol Lancut maintains third position with 14-3 record having just two points less than leader Spojnia. Loser Nysa Klodzko keeps the fifteenth place with 13 games lost. Sokol Lancut will face bottom-ranked KK Warszawa (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Nysa Klodzko will play against Slask and hope to win that game.
