The game in Puente Alto was also quite interesting. 4th placed CD Castro (9-17) played at the court of fifth ranked Puente Alto (12-14). Puente Alto defeated CD Castro 90-79 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds. Venezuelan forward Juan Coronado (203-90, college: Liberty) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Puente Alto players scored in double figures. American center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for CD Castro. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Puente Alto maintains fifth place with 12-14 record. Loser CD Castro keeps the fourth position with 17 games lost. Puente Alto will face league's second-placed AB Ancud at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CD Castro will play against Tinguiririca S.F. in San Fernando and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
