Regular Season Round 26: Las Animas - CDU Concepcion 79-68

The game between Top Four teams took place in Valdivia. First ranked host Las Animas (22-5) defeated one of their biggest challengers Universidad de Concepcion (14-13) 79-68. The game was mostly controlled by Las Animas. Universidad de Concepcion managed to win third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Diego Silva (186-93) produced 20 points and American Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) added 17 points respectively for the guests. They maintain first position with 22-5 record. Loser Universidad de Concepcion dropped to the second place with 13 games lost. They share the position with CDU Catolica. Las Animas will meet league's second-placed AB Ancud on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Universidad de Concepcion will play against Puente Alto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
