Regular Season Round 11: Bank of Taiwan - Yulon Luxgen 68-83

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Bank of Taiwan (8-5) against fifth ranked Yulon Luxgen on Sunday night. Yulon Luxgen were defeated by fifth ranked Yulon Luxgen (7-6) 83-68. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Wei-Han Lin (178-90) contributed with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Yulon Luxgen's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) answered with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and the former international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen moved-up to second place, which they share with Pauian. Bank of Taiwan at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Yulon Luxgen is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Taiwan Beer (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bank of Taiwan will play against Fubon Braves (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
