Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Elitzur Yavne (6-7) defeated at home 11th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (4-9) 89-71 on Tuesday. Elitzur Yavne made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Elitzur Yavne outrebounded Hapoel Kfar Saba 39-26 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) stepped up and scored 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and naturalized German forward Idan Rejwan (197-91) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds.
