Bottom-ranked Maccabi K/M managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Tuesday night. This time newly promoted Maccabi K/M edged fifth-ranked Hapoel Galilee in Kiryat Motzkin 92-89. Maccabi K/M looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American swingman Folarin Campbell (189-86, college: George Mason) fired 28 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. His fellow American import power forward Kenny Hall (206-90, college: Tennessee) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Maccabi K/M players scored in double figures. Orian Lonski (-95) produced 28 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: Texas Arlington) added 22 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Maccabi K/M (4-9) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Hapoel K/S. Loser Hapoel Galilee keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Hapoel B/S and Hap.Haifa. Maccabi K/M will meet at home higher ranked Hasharon (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Galilee will play against Elitzur Yavne (#9) and hope to secure a win.
