Regular Season Round 29: Mineros - Fuerza Regia 71-69

Ninth defeat of league's leader Fuerza Regia (18-9) against second ranked Mineros (19-8) 71-69 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Mineros made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Fuerza Regia only scored nine points from the stripe. 25 personal fouls committed by Fuerza Regia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mineros keep a position of league leader. Fuerza Regia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the second place with nine games lost. They share the position with Capitanes. They were replaced at the leadership position by Mineros. Fuerza Regia will play next round against strong Soles trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Mineros will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Toros in Nuevo Laredo.
