Bottom-ranked Stevnsgade (0-12) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to fourth ranked Naestved (8-6) 97-83 on Wednesday evening. The game without a history. Naestved led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Naestved outrebounded Stevnsgade 41-21 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (205-93, college: Wisc.-Parkside) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and British guard Conner Washington (183-92) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Mathias Seilund (204-90, college: Fair Dickinson) responded with 23 points and forward Filip Rajovic (190-97) scored 23 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naestved maintains fourth place with 8-6 record. Stevnsgade at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Naestved are looking forward to face league's second-placed Horsholm at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Stevnsgade will have a break next round.
