Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Panama City: Halcones (#4) and Aguilas (#6). Halcones (6-7) won against visiting Aguilas (3-10) 77-65. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Scott Rodgers (191-87, college: Drexel) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). The former international swingman Gary Forbes (201-85, college: Virginia) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Jonathan King (198-90, college: Abil.Christian) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Venezuelan guard Gabriel Escobar (181-81) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Aguilas. Aguilas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Halcones maintains fourth place with 6-7 record. Aguilas lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost.
