Important game to mention about took place in Vilnius. Tenth ranked Perlas (11-16) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Neptunas-Akv. (18-10) 81-80 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Perlas forced 25 Neptunas-Akv. turnovers. Strangely Neptunas-Akv. outrebounded Perlas 42-23 including a 27-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Deividas Sirvydis (200-0) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Center Marek Blazevic (206-1) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) came up with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Arunas Mikalauskas (202-97, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Neptunas-Akv. in the defeat. Four Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. Perlas maintains tenth place with 11-16 record. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
