Regular Season Round 19: BIOK2.COM OKE - La Fecha 79-84

Everything could happen in Ordizia at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked La Fecha and 11th ranked BIOK2.COM OKE had identical 5-10 record. But BIOK2.COM OKE was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Arroyo Encomienda 84-79 on Saturday night. Strangely BIOK2.COM OKE outrebounded La Fecha 46-22 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Millan Lopez (185-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Alejandro Fisac (183-96) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side forward Asier De-la-Iglesia (201-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 20 rebounds and guard Ander Merketegi (186-98) scored 27 points and 5 assists. La Fecha (6-10) moved-up to tenth place in Group A-A, which they share with Ardoi. BIOK2.COM OKE lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. La Fecha will face CBT Gimnastica (#16) in Torrelavega in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BIOK2.COM OKE will play on the road against Easo (#5) in San Sebastian and hope to win that game.
