Very predictable result in Rodou where seventh ranked Kolossos HH (6-6) beat 13th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (2-10) 78-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kolossos HH led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aiolos Trikallon to just 6 points in second quarter. Kolossos HH looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Marvin Jones (213-93, college: Texas Southern) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia) who added 14 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Michail Lountzis (196-98) with 17 points and 4 steals and Serbian power forward Marko Tejic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kolossos HH moved-up to sixth place, which they share with AEK and Cretan Kings. Aiolos Trikallon lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Kolossos HH will meet Aris (#10) in the next round. Aiolos Trikallon will play against Koroivos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
