Regular Season Round 19: Olivar - Pardinyes-L. 78-82

Everything went according to plan in Zaragoza where first ranked Pardinyes-L. (11-2) beat 7th ranked Olivar (6-7) 82-78 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for forward Javier Mendiburu (197-80) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Pol Domingo (198-90) helped adding 18 points. Five Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Jaime Fernandez (203-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and guard Carlos Alocen (189-0) scored 17 points and 8 assists. Pardinyes-L. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group C-B with 11-2 record, which they share with Vic. Loser Olivar keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Pardinyes-L. will face Mollet (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Olivar will play against Cerdanyola and hope to win that game.
